STORE GIVES NURSERY SPECIAL OFFER

An Exeter nursery has received a £300 grant from supermarket giant Sainsbury's to buy new equipment for its children.Cedars Nursery was given the grant by Sainsbury's Exeter Guildhall branch
The donation was made as part of the supermarket's Community Grants scheme, funded by profits from Bag for Life sales.
The Bag for Life scheme encourages customers to cut their use of disposable plastic bags by buying a more durable carrier.
Sainsbury's store manager John Lambert said: "When we heard about the need for new training equipment by the youngsters, we were pleased to nominate them for a community grant. We play an important role in this community and want to do all we can to be part of it.
"Helping local children to grow and achieve their full potential is a terrific investment for their future."
